My target 2000 mi
I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
I will be performing this challenge to help raise money for Combat stress an amazing charity which provides support to veterans who suffer from PTSD by getting them the help they deserve. I believe that no man or women who goes to war, surviving and fighting in conditions that are unfathomable in comparison to everyday 'civilian' life, should proceed to fight these wars in their minds when they come home to their beloved families.
I grew up with an uncle who was in the forces, playing a key role in my upbringing. He was my role model, my hero! He is the reason why I've pushed myself and although he is no longer in the army he still continues to inspire me to push myself past my limits and to try and make a positive difference to peoples lives.
My promise in return to your contribution is that I will take every vital step to helping our veterans get the help they deserve, as well as train as hard as I can to complete this challenge in return to show my gratitude.
This will be my first step to making a difference, with many more to come.
