Why

First of all thank you to anyone who has already donated. It means so much to the veterans who this money will go to help. 
As lots of you know, I sadly lost my dad a few years ago to cancer. I have been wanted to raise money somehow for a military charity in his honor. I am lucky enough to run for Combat Stress, where we have a family connection, and helped some of my family. It is such a great charity doing a lot of work behind the scenes for all 3 services. Although nothing special in my blog or opening page, I aim to expand on it. I am currently sitting at 12km, so over the next few weeks,I will be building on that. 

Support my challenge

This year I will be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and servicewomen deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
