Oh yes I did 😬
After completing my 1st marathon this year on my 3rd sobriety birthday, I've been looking for something new to challenge me and this fell upon my Facebook feed. This november i will be taking part in my first ultra marathon Race to remember, With my dad having served in the British army in the 70's in northen ireland, on his second tour of duty him and 3 others were blown up, receiving serious injuries. obviously I felt a connection straight away to this charity and be able to help the serving and non serving members of the british forces would be an honour.Support my Race to Remember
This year I will be taking part in Race to Remember to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on Race to Remember to help take vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.
