Ex Northern Grit: Conquering the Yorkshire Three Peaks for a Greater Cause

This isn’t just a walk in the park. It’s 24 miles. 3 mountains. One mission: to push beyond limits and raise funds for a cause that matters.
In February 2026 myself other members of 103 Regiment Royal Artillery be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge — a gruelling endurance test through the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, climbing Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, all in one punishing day. It’s a civilian classic — but I’ll be doing it the military way: full prep, strong pace, zero excuses
Why It Matters
I'm not just doing this for the challenge. I’m doing it to raise money for Combat Stress.
Every step, blister, and cramp will be in honour of those who’ve served, are still serving, or are fighting battles many don’t see.
I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.
