Day 31
That's it, all done and got the t-shirt! Although I reached the 100 mile mark a little while back I kept going (at a reduced rate of course) until the end of the month. I finished on just over 154 miles and raised £668 for Combat Stress. Thank you all so much for the support, it is very much appreciated!Day 18
Challenge complete. Having done around 10 miles today all told, that’s me over the 100 mile mark! I’ll crack on till the end of the month, but chuffed to finish. Again, thanks for the support and donations, it really makes a difference!Day 14
Day 10
Day 10 and 50 miles in. Halfway there! Going well and getting used to being this active again. Still really hate running though. Better news is that I reckon I’m down from a D to a C cup and I’m ironing shirts over a shallower wok now. Thanks again to all those who have supported me through this, I’m truly humbled!Day 4
Day 1
I'm taking on 100 Miles in May for Combat Stress
During my service in the military, I was diagnosed with severe depression, stress, anxiety and post traumatic stress. These illnesses still have a profound effect today and require daily management.
This year I'm taking on 100 Miles in May to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.

Great effort for a great cause Daz. I did something similar for Cancer research a few years ago when I was in a difficult place myself. Worked wonders! Fresh air, cleared my head, a major mental reset and met my wife to be. Best of luck buddy for all the good reasons ❤️
