Fan Dance Trinity / Combat Stress

By Craig Davies

I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support.

The Fan Dance Trinity

Saturday 19th Feb
Myself and three other members of the Royal Army Physical Training Corps will be taking on the challenge of The Fan Dance Trinity carrying 35lbs, This is a challenge that begins as soon as the race does with an immediate ascent of Pen y Fan which is 2,907 feet (886 m).
The route then descends on the other side of the peak with a pathed route to the halfway point before turning around and reversing the route. The return leg provides an even tougher challenge with the evil ascent back up the Fan known as Jacob’s Ladder.

Dark Trail is the second event and an opportunity to take on an arduous route march in the dark. This event will give us a whole new take on the Brecon Beacons and Pen y Fan. Testing all of our limits and senses when  scaling some of the highest peaks in South Wales and proceeding to undertake a tough physical challenge under the cover of darkness followed by the third and final event early Sunday morning repeating the grueling Fan dance after complete and extreme Fatigue but this is a challenge we are prepared to take to raise money for our fellow serving comrades and Veterans!
