Joining the Challenge
Today, I officially signed up for the Combat Stress Challenge this March, and I couldn’t be more excited to get started!
To make the most of the day, I decided to hit the ground running—or rather, walking—and covered 3 miles. It felt great to take those first steps toward my 10-mile goal. I plan to start working my way up and try and do 10 miles in one day one Saturday in March. :)
Support my March in March
This March, I’m taking on a 10-mile walk to support Combat Stress, an incredible organisation dedicated to helping veterans cope with PTSD and mental health challenges. This cause is close to my heart. My dad proudly served in the military, and I’ve seen firsthand how the impact of service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off. Friends like Jack, Tony, and countless others struggle with the invisible wounds of war every day.
I’m no runner—walking has always been more my pace—but these 10 miles are nothing compared to the challenges our veterans face daily. As I take these steps, I’ll also be continuing to learn how to support through hypnotherapy, a skill I have and continue developing to give back in my own way.
Combat Stress has been making a real difference for years, providing specialised care to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our peace and safety. I’m asking for your support to help raise funds for this vital work. Together, we can ensure our veterans receive the care they deserve.
Every donation counts—thank you for standing with me and our heroes!
