Completed the Challenge

Hey all,

This morning (Brunei time zone) I completed the challenge.
While I was making my way around the course, I took some videos and photos which I edited into a single video, I can't upload it here.

Check it on; https://www.facebook.com/525996209/videos/1939669463109571/

Thanks again for every donation made to Combat Stress

Less than a week to go

The Beta Challenge takes place this Sunday, very early (Saturday evening UK time zone).

Although physically challenging, I'm hoping that my efforts will help promote this weekend to help raise funds for our veterans.

Any donation is welcome, remember "Combat Stress" receives donations without a middleman who takes their share, this is the best method to donate.

Thank you, I'll update after the Challenge again.

I am raising vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

My name is Chris (banana for scale) I will be participating in a 10km (6 miles) course with 15 obstacles on Borneo island where the humidity is almost 100%. I bear all transport costs to the event and the entry fee, all donations are going to this organisation; no middleman.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

The high humidity means basically that it's not easy to catch your breath, your donation will help me mentally focus on completing this physically intense course to ensure Veterans can receive mental health support. A Veteran is a person who has served for at least 1 day or a full career to provide the freedom everyone has, but they don't always transfer to civilian life without the need to address their mental health.

I've worked in many roles within my employment, both physically and mentally challenging around the globe. No matter what the work, location, time of day or distance from family; I can honestly say that a person's mental health is critical for their wellbeing which families may depend upon. There are short traumatic events in life as well as long term situations which can feel daunting as well as draining. Everything mentioned so far can result in a person feeling under immense pressure, scared, embarrassed, angry at themselves or misdirect anger towards family/ friends/ others. At the same time, it's these people noticing the effect who can help someone to overcome those feelings and support them, but there is also this organisation as another anonymous option.

They really want to help.

Please think about not buying drinks or cigarettes for a weekend and see if it improves your own mental health.
Perhaps donate some of the money not spent to help others who really will benefit from your kindness.
Your donations can help you and a stranger, win-win right?

Please spread the word amongst strangers and friends alike, please help me raise funds for this very worthy cause.

Every £ is greatly appreciated, thank you so much for your support.
