Day 11
32 miler to Shoreham this morning. Should reach my goal of 300k by this weekend.Day 9
Another 42km this morning. Many thanks to the kind lady from Horsham who gave us a donation when we stopped for coffee at Sumners Pond. I have corrected the mileage target as it was showing our combined target of 1000km for each of us, which might have been a bit too ambitious!Day 8
Just 20k this morning before the rain started, but it all helps!Day 7
Another 50k this morning on what was forecast to be the dry day this weekend, but rain started before we got home.Day 3
Lorna has added some distance today - please add to her total sponsorship onLorna and I are taking part in the Combat Stress CycleSeptember challenge!
This year we will be taking on CycleSeptember and cycling 1,000 kilometers to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans. Between us we have been cycling for nearly 150 years, but you can ensure that the 1000km for Combat stress could be the most worthwhile!
The generous donations so far were mostly from people we both know, but they all ended up on my total! Please use Lorna's page to donate as this is very much a joint effort. Lorna's page is

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
We are taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
Thank you so much for your support.
