This November, Team Worst Pace Scenario is limping boldly into the Race to Remember—a 76km ultra-marathon from Aldershot to Portsmouth.
Why? Because we believe in something bigger than our collective fear of chafing. We are taking part to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans. Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
We figured if they can do that, we can probably manage to shuffle our way across Hampshire without crying too much.
