Manchester Marathon 2026

My next challenge!

Manchester Marathon for Combat Stress

Earlier this year I set out to raise money for Combat Stress by climbing Ben Nevis. The weather and conditions stopped us reaching the summit, but the support and donations reminded me why this cause matters. Many veterans face serious mental health struggles after service. Combat Stress works every day to provide specialist treatment and support for those who need it most.

I decided to take on another challenge to continue raising money for them. My next event will be the Manchester Marathon.

Running a marathon demands months of training, discipline, and long miles on the road. Every run reminds me why I signed up. Many former service personnel face battles long after their time in uniform ends. Combat Stress provides therapy, support programmes, and a lifeline for veterans across the UK.

Your support helps fund treatment for conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Donations help veterans access professional care and long term support.

I will share updates during training and in the lead up to race day. If you wish to support the cause, please consider donating or sharing this page with others.

Every donation pushes me forward during training and on race day.

Thank you for your support.

Support my challenge

This year I will be taking on the Manchester Marathon to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support.
