Join Team Combat Stress for the second largest marathon in the UK and enjoy the coastal and scenic route of Brighton! Soak up the buzzing atmosphere and be spurred on by our fantastic cheerers and by the spectators that line the streets.
We only have limited charity places available, so join us today!

If you have your own place in the event, you can still join the team and receive the same support as our charity place runners! There’s no registration fee or fundraising target, just do the best you can and help make a difference to the lives of the veterans we support.

FAQs
Will Combat Stress have a cheer point on the day?
Combat Stress will have a volunteer led Cheer Point at the Brighton Marathon.
Our wonderful long term supporter, Barry Coase, organises our cheer point and would welcome anyone joining him on the day. If you would like any cheer material for your friends and family, you can order for free from our Online Shop.
Where will the Cheer Point be located?
Our cheer point will be located just after mile 10 on Marine Drive, opposite the entrance to Roedean School on the side going back into Brighton.
Our location is marked by an orange star on the Route Map found in the assets section.
What is in my Race Pack?
- Your paper race number with attached timing chip (and safety pins to attach it to your top)
- Reusable kit bag for the bag drop in the Beach Village
- Official, technical race T-shirt
Where does the Brighton Marathon start and finish?
The course starts in Preston Park and finishes at Hove Lawns.
Will there be toilets along the course?
There will beToilets, including disasbled access toilets, will be avaliable at the start and finish. There are also pletny of toilets along the route which are all marked on the route map.
Are there water stations located on the course?
Yes, water will be in bottles at miles 4, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 23.
How do I find out the time I completed the marathon in?
Results will appear on the Brighton Marathon Weekend website at the end of the event day.
When will I recieve my event pack?
Brighton Marathon organisers are currently posting out event paks which will contain your bib number, to all participants who live in the UK.
If you have not recieved your event pack by the time your post arrives on 27 March then please email replacementpack@londonmarathonevents.co.uk with your full name, date of birth, postal address and the event that you're taking part in.
Interational participants will be able to pick their event packs up from the information point at Prestion Part on Saturday 1 April between 11:00 and 18:00.
What time does the marathon begin?
The event officially starts at 09:45 with staggered starting times according to the colour on your bib.
You are welcome to move to an earlier wave but not to a later one.
Will there be park & ride avalible?
Yes, the event organisers operate a park & ride service with shuttles to the start and the finish. Further information on this will be emailed to all marathon participants by the end of 22 March.
