Thank you for looking at my page

Thank you for looking at my fundraising page. As well as running the 44 mile D-day challenge on 6th June 2924 I am also going to be completing the Edinburgh Marathon on 26th May 2024.

I have decided to complete both these events as its 30 years this year that I joined the British Army as a medic and as I am getting older want to take the opportunity to complete 2 physically demanding events to raise money for an amazing cause.

During my career in the army and my civilian carer in  Health and Social Care I have witnessed the effects of  conflict and service has had on many forces personnel whilst serving but also for many years after they have left, Please donate what you can and support the work of Combat Stress

Support my D-Day Challenge

In honour of our forefathers as well as current servicemen and women who have bravely fought to protect our way of life, I will be taking on the D-Day 44 Mile Challenge to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

The D-Day 44 Challenge commemorates the 1944 Allied invasion of occupied France. I will be heading to Normandy, to race across its picturesque beaches, finishing at the historic Pegasus Bridge on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, 6 June 2024.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on D-Day Challenge to help take vital strides towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support.
