Marley and Me
Well my name is Marley. Maybe after Marley and Me or Bob Marley but my life was very different before being looked after by Rob a Sapper with a kind Heart which found the best in me after being ill treated in my last home.Now a veterans support dog I give lots of affection to those to whom we help and a treat is always nearby.
With struggling with our past traumas we have bonded so much into a larger family network of both 4 and 2 legs.
I am always there to be that comfort to him when the nightmares overcome and the moments of loss are unbearable for him. But life I'd full of routine with me jumping on him T 7:30 to wake up. Bark when I want the car window open but through all this our survival in life depends on each other..
I'm taking part in the Combat Stress Waggy Trails Challenge!
This year I'll be taking on Waggy Trails to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
