ENDEX - Cycle September completed
Aim: to raise £750 by cycling 750KM
Achieved £976 and cycled 1027KM
I did tell all those that followed me that i would cycle 1KM for every £1 raised over the 750KM planned, they had a chance here to really make this challenge hard, but have now missed out .

Its amazing what you see when you are cycling to work and not worried about hitting a PB and actually look up and take in your surroundings.

Saturday was a amazing ride in the rain of Wales, cycling down along the river TAFF from Caerphilly Castle to The Bay area of Cardiff.

Nearly there - 17 Sept

Steady Eddy, I had a good plan to achieve my target of 750KM but it seems like I'm going to hit that early. Therefore i plan to continue riding and to match the money raised by 1km ridden for every £1 over the £750 target. This could be a nice way to end Cycle September or if money rolls in last minute it could be a long time in the saddle. 

As a personal challenge for an ageing Submariner Chef, I'm taking part in the Combat Stress Cycle September challenge!

After a long period of not testing myself, this year I will be taking on the challenge of cycling 750 kilometres, or even further if I can, to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

 Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

 I will post updates on my Insta and FB accounts so you can track my progress and if unlucky enough maybe some action pics.

For less than £1 per mile cycled, together we are taking steps to ensure veterans can get the support they need - me by doing this challenge, and you by sponsoring what you can.

If my sponsorship target is smashed then I will cycle in September until I cant cycle anymore.
