Balance
It's an interesting thing balancing work, home life whilst managing the balance between training for the london marathon and fundraising for my target.I'm so grateful for everyone who has donated towards my target. Passing £300 is a great start. But I know I need to show why people should sponsor me to support Combat Stress.
Support my challenge
I'm taking on the 2027 London Marathon to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
As a former Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) combat medic, my job was fixing others. But after leaving the service, the invisible wounds of PTSD caught up with me. Treating others didn't make me immune to the strain, and eventually, I was the one who needed saving.
Combat Stress was there when I needed them most. The support
and care I received gave me my life back.
IThank you so much for your support.
