Day 5, Walk 5- Toadsmoar

An autumnal day, foggy and cool. New walk, local, found another wood.
A farmer tried to deter with non dog friendly stiles, but we came prepared, harness and muscles.
Nature playing tricks- a couple of tumbles, a graze/ bruise or two- but she'll live.
Review 4.5 pawstars

So today totals 32.07miles walked and smashed a third of our fundraising goal/ Thank you for your support so far!

D2, W2- weighted

Todays waggy trail took me along the local canal towpath. I saw some pawsome art along the way. I said hello to lots of other furry friends and their humans. I nearly got lucky, some lady lowered her ice-cream to my level, but I got busted - better luck next time. The swans and ducks out today, but my mumma said I mustn't chase them. Midway my mumma stopped for a treat, she said she deserved it as she was carrying 7kg, I went for the cold water dip, this is why I gave her an extra point in my review. Post walk review 3.5 pawstars.

My why!

Those of us that know someone who has served, know that a soldier's journey is not over when they leave active duty.

I would encourage everyone to look beyond the crowds and poppies this remembrance day, and just look up. See the faces around you, the journey is real and often in silence.

Supporting and donating to charities such as Combat Stress is about preserving their existance. For those needing them now and those in the future.

I'm taking part in the Combat Stress Waggy Trails Challenge!

This year I'll be taking on Waggy Trails to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support.
