Why I’m Fundraising for Mental Health

another. Whether it’s something we experience ourselves or something we see a friend, family member, colleague, or loved one going through, it can have a profound impact on our lives.
That’s why I’ve decided to fundraise for mental health awareness and support.
For many people, talking about mental health can still feel difficult. There can be fear of being judged, not knowing where to turn, or feeling like you have to deal with everything on your own. But mental health deserves the same care, compassion, and attention as physical health.
Through this fundraiser, I hope to help raise both money and awareness. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can contribute towards providing support, resources, education, and a reminder to someone that they are not alone.
I’m also hoping that this campaign encourages people to have more open conversations about mental health. Sometimes, simply asking someone “Are you okay?” and genuinely listening can make a difference.
I know that fundraising alone cannot solve the challenges surrounding mental health, but I believe that every contribution helps move us towards a world where people feel more comfortable asking for help and accessing the support they need.
If you’re able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing the fundraiser, talking about it, or simply checking in on someone can also make a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and support this cause. Together, we can help make mental health a priority and remind people that they don’t have to face things alone.
Every donation counts. Every conversation matters. Every person matters.

I'm taking part in the Combat Stress CycleSeptember challenge!

This year I will be taking on CycleSeptember and cycling 250, 500, 750 or 1,000 kilometers to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support.
