8 days in... 27.5 miles down
I've managed 27.5 miles in my first 8 days so I am definitely on track to hit 100 miles this month. I'm tempted to raise the bar to 125 miles and see how I get on...always been a fan of a stretch target!Day 1
Today's the day! Starting as we mean to go on with a quick mile before work, and scheduling in time for a short lunchtime walk followed by a 3 mile trail this evening.Support my Boots on the ground
This year I will be taking on Boots on the ground to raise vital funds for life-changing support for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking on vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need. I'll be walking at least 100 miles throughout June - wish me luck!
