I'm taking part in the Combat Stress Marathon in a Month challenge!

This year I will be taking on Marathon in a Month to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Steve always asked me to do a lap for him….

So today is my last run for Marathon in a Month for Combat Stress. 
I am running in memory of a fellow Snowdrop who died last month. Whenever Steve saw me heading out for a run with the dog (usually with a glass of red in hand - him not me!) he would tell me to do a lap for him as well. So this time I will. I’m going to redo the challenge next month in his honor and aim to beat this months total.

So my walk with the hound today tilted me over my aim!!!

 I have injured my  foot and I don’t think the physio would appreciate me running it all in one go.
