Final straight

So, with 4 days left in the month, the finish is in sight. Just 66km left to cycle. It’s been harder than I anticipated, what with normal life and all, but it’s in aid of a great cause. Thanks to my sponsors for their suppport. If you’re not yet one of them, you know what to do ….. 🙏 

Day 8 - tracking ahead of schedule

157km cycled so far, 7 days in, a mix of on road, gravel and Peloton

Day 1 - Peloton ride

12.5 miles completed in the course of a 45 min instructor-led Peloton ride

Training started in earnest today

With a 38 mile rideout past Cliveden, thru Marlow, across the Thames at Hambledon lock and then back via a coffee stop at Sip&Spoke, Warren Row. A good start

This year I will be taking on CycleSeptember and cycling a minimum of 500 kilometers to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
