This is me ! There i said it .
10th April 1992 The IRA ignited a Ton Truck Bomb in St Mary Axe In the City Of London . People Died and People survived .The Sad Fact it has changed so many peoples lives expedentually from loss of loved ones to long term injury and scaring to Mental illness that has manifest it self over the following years. Once your clear of the physical scars or they fade you find you are left with others . As a 26 Year old Man i burried these feelings not as well as i thought i Left these unchecked drowning my sorrows and being in denile , 22 Years later after nearly Wrecking a second Marraige i awas given an ultimatum which helped me address my Demons with counceling - I am not about labels but i was diagnosed with PTSD and Depression . Combat stress were a part of my Early Journey back . I joined a local Cyclegroup "We Hate Hills" they were helping in Raising money by Riding The London Prudential 100 Something i thought was beyond me but i did it .Fast forward . Suffering a Stroke in 2014 set me back sent me into the darkness again - Now 57 i am getting better the PTSD is in the past i still remember the vivid experience and sometimes need to talk about it . I now Suffer with Depression these days but have tool box of ways i can address my feelings .Not fixed but getting there ..
so here i am again raising a bit for aworthwhile Charity Helping others to Help themselves .

This year I'll be taking on Waggy Trails to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.
I’m taking vital steps towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.
