This epic ultramarathon takes you on a 76km route all the way from Aldershot to Portsmouth. Taking in a mix of trails and tarmac you'll take in the challenging South Downs overcoming 2000ft of elevation.

  • Elevation: +857 ft Max Grade 11.6%
  • Aid Stations: 3

Starting in Petersfield the 36km course takes you straight into the the heart of the South Downs national park. Suitable for both walkers and runners this well supported route presents a great challenge.

CUT OFF TIMES

Cut–off times are in place to ensure participant safety. If your pace is slower than our event tail runner or walker, the support team will collect you and move you further along the route so that you can finish the challenge within the required time. 

Cut off times are based upon 6km/hr for runners and 4km/hr for walkers.

The route

Aldershot - Petersfield - Portsmouth

Participants taking on the 76km ultramarathon will start from Aldershot, the home of the British Army. From there, they will head south, through the stunning South Downs National Park, covering 40km and pass through 2 break stops, before reaching Petersfield. The 36km walkers and runners will join here.

All participants will continue towards the coast, through a further 3 break stops, before crossing the finish line at the Royal Naval Museum in the historic dockyard, Portsmouth.

The event is fully supported, and includes satellite trackers, 6 break stops with food and refreshments for 76km runners and 3 break stops for 36km participants. There is medical support throughout.
