In the beginning

Why am I doing this?
My great uncle Sid landed on the beaches, he never spoke about it but we know he was in the SBS. So I was incredibly proud when I visited Sword Beach during a charity bike ride I did from Montpellier, Fr to Montpellier, Eng.
I then went on to serve in the armed forces myself, with just shy of 6 years in the Royal Military Police. I was based in Cyprus, before moving to Northern Ireland, with a trip to the sandy climes of Iraq.
I later joined the Police, where my first fatal RTC involved an off duty soldier, which brought along PTSD.
After 18 years of being frontline in the police, and for about the past ten a family liaison officer, I want to be able to help some people that continue to go through the torture of PTSD.
I have luckily been in a position where I received that I needed. There are many more out there who haven’t been in a position to do this, sometimes mentally, sometimes physically.
I would love to be able to help more reach that help, with your help!
Thanks for reading this and please, every penny counts…

Support my D-Day Challenge

In honour of our forefathers as well as current servicemen who have bravely fought to protect our way of life, I will be taking on the D-Day Challenge to raise vital funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans.

The D-Day 44 Challenge commemorates the 1944 Allied invasion of occupied France. I will be heading to Normandy, to race across its picturesque beaches, finishing at the historic Pegasus Bridge on the anniversary of D-Day, 6 June 2025.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, they've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, they provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

I’m taking on D-Day Challenge to help take vital strides towards ensuring veterans can get the support they need.

Thank you so much for your support.
