Running for Those who’ve Served
In April, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon alongside a close friend, raising money for Combat Stress — a charity that supports former members of the Armed Forces living with mental health conditions. As someone currently serving in the British Army, I understand the importance of supporting mental health. Combat Stress does vital work helping veterans rebuild their lives, offering specialist care, and long-term support.
Training for a half marathon is a challenge in itself, but I want to do more than just rack up the miles. On the lead-up to the race, I will be completing a series of fitness-based challenges. When you donate, I’d love for you to use the comments section to set me a challenge — whether that’s running, walking, cycling, or an exercise or workout of your choice. If it sounds brutal… even better, I will give it everything I have got.
My goal is to raise £400, and I’ll do everything I can to complete every challenge set. Your support, no matter how big or small, helps Combat Stress continue their life-changing work for those who’ve given so much already.
Thank you for the support — now let’s see what challenges you’ve got for me 💪🏃♂️
